Facts about the bank
- On 2 May, Sparebanken Vest and Sparebanken Sør merged to form Sparebanken Norge.
- Sparebanken Norge is an independent, listed financial services group headquartered in Bergen and Kristiansand, with 68 local branches across Norway.
- The bank is built on the savings bank model, a 200-year-old idea under which our customers and wider society own approximately 60 per cent of the bank.
- We share a portion of our profits with our customers and society through customer dividends and community dividends. Community dividends support voluntary organisations and worthwhile projects that contribute to the green transition, promote inclusion and help local communities thrive.
